We are located in West Springfield, MA, and are a Massachusetts Corporation.

Do we pay sales tax?
Only Massachusetts’s customers must pay tax. All others do not.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Can I send a personal check or money order if I don’t have a credit card?
Yes-simply attach your check to your mail order.

Are there any disadvantages to sending a check?
Yes-Checks and money orders cause a delay in processing time. Snail mail uses up precious time so we encourage credit cards for Fax, email, and telephone orders.

What is your policy on returned checks?
Returned Checks - Customer will be charged a $25 service fee for checks returned from our bank.

I work at a school and we use a purchase order system. Do you accept purchase orders?
We accept official Purchase orders from Corporations, Municipalities and Government Organizations. (Shipping & handling will be added.)

Can I ship my order COD?
Sorry, we do not ship COD

How long does it take to get my order?
All orders are processed in our plant , and are shipped out in approximately 4 days. Orders are shipped via UPS, and a time and distance link is provided here for you. http://www.ups.com Please bear in mind that if we send you a proof, production times begins AFTER you approve the proof.

I am in the Military and have an APO address. How do you ship to APO and FPO addresses?
Shipments to APO/FPO addresses are mailed U.S.P.S.(priority mail). Please email for rates, and delivery time.

What happens if I need to return merchandise?
Most merchandise is personalized, and cannot be returned. We will accept back Trophies because we can remove the lettering plate. A $2.00 fee per each lettering plate will also be applied, as well as a 15% restocking charge. Medals and Plaques usually are personalized, and cannot be returned. If you do receive damaged goods, please call or email for a Return Authorization (RA) number. We will advise of specific return procedures at that point. All returns must have prior approval and a RA number. Credit will be issued after inspection for damage. Please make claims for any damages within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise.

How do I get Free Shipping?
All orders over $200.00 that are prepaid in full or credit card orders (Not Purchase orders) that are being shipped ground transit within the continental United States will receive Free Freight. Please consult the shipping chart for orders under $200.00. Shipping rates are for the 48 contiguous states and exclude Alaska, and Hawaii. Joe

How do I calculate the freight for an order so I can pay when I fax or Mail in my order?
Shipping rates for prepaid order are located on the order form.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. The shipping and handling will be quoted separately via email only. Our Email address is sales@pictureawards.com. Shipments outside the continental United States must be prepaid. This includes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Can I send a photo, clipart, or, artwork for you to use on a trophy, plaque, medal or picture tile?
Yes we would prefer you sending us the picture so we can scan it at the correct resolution. Clipart can be emailed.

What do you mean by artwork?
Artwork is computer created images either digital, or ready to be scanned. Also it should be ready to be printed. We do not consider a photocopy or fax artwork

I have a picture-can I email it to you?
We accept email pictures. Please remember that we cannot improve your email pictures because the resolution has already been set by you. Please be sure the resolution is at least 150DPI, or greater if plaques will be ordered.

I have a logo of my company that I want on my awards. Is there a Release form that I need to send Picture Awards?
Yes - We have provided a release for your use. Please fill it out, and mail to Picture Awards- Artwork Department-871 Elm Street, West Springfield, MA 01089

Are there any Copyright restrictions?
Yes. We require that you state in the release form that you are the owner, or have the permission to authorize Picture Awards to use the desired artwork, picture image etc. Release form is available at

What format do accept for artwork?
We accept most formats. These include wmf, jpeg, gif, tif, bmp, We also accept Corel Draw files. Vector files are preferable.

How much is a screen charge, or application fee for color plaques, medals, trophies etc?
Free. We do not charge any extra to apply color, or individual coloring on our products.

What is the cost for plaque, or trophy lettering?
Free. All lettering is free including plaques.

What Graphic program does Picture Awards use?
Corel Draw 9.0, and Photo Paint. We are on an IBM Platform We use a Mac.

Can I send a Mac file for my order?
Yes, however if you can convert the file to any of the above mentioned format the order will flow much faster.

How can I track my order after it has been shipped?
Call us at 1-800-873-4982 and we will give you the tracking number. Simply go to http://www.ups.com and track your order.

Why can’t I enter my order on the web site?
Most customers have a few questions, and like talking to the sales reps. If you know what you want you can email your order to sales@pictureawards.com. There is an order form that can be printed out, and faxed to us.

Do you accept RFQ’s to quote on specific requirements?
Yes

Do you have volume pricing?
Yes. All merchandise can be quoted for volume discounts. Please contact us for details.

What other products do you produce besides Trophies, Plaques and Medals?
We produce Picture tiles, which are color images on tiles, which are then placed into trivets etc. We also produce color panels used in industry on large pieces of plastic, and metal. Maximum size Is 28” x 36”
